A garden is not only what grows. It is the complete outdoor living system around a residence: the landscape, the people who use it and the materials that make it work.
Our assessment begins at the exterior of the residence and continues to the boundaries of the land, considering every connected area above and below ground.

Why wood matters to us.
Wood connects practical work with the living world. It brings warmth, preserves biogenic carbon while it remains in use and can be repaired, restored and adapted rather than discarded.
It is also anisotropic: its strength, movement and response change with the grain and the direction of the force. Understanding this natural behaviour guides how we build, repair, protect and maintain each piece.

We look beyond the task in front of us. The property, access, materials, vegetation, terrain, water and the client's priorities are read together before the work is organised.

The Garden of Growth with Oki is led by Octavio Salles, a forest engineer with experience in nurseries, landscaping, carpentry and property maintenance. That combination brings a practical and informed approach to every garden, timber element and repair.
